Is this it?

In this fine post I’ll show you what I have collected so far.

But before that a small news message: Now that the game will be coming out I probably will spent all my time in the game so there is a big chance that I won’t be updating it for a few weeks.

I split my collection up in 2 parts because it wouldn’t all fit in 1 picture, also I didn’t include any of the fan art or any clothing because those are still inside the plastic.

Let us start with all the artwork, this means poster like materials.

And after that we have all the other merchandise, goodies and magazines that Diablo appeared in.

With only a little less than 36 hours remaining for the launch here I really can’t wait to get my hands on it. Lucky for me I have the week off of work. For all of you who live in the Netherlands I’ll be going to the midnight launch in Rotterdam. I will be wearing this T-Shirt.

I wish all of the fans a good hunting!

Verified: #41: Diablo 3 sideshow overthrown statue.

Let’s get out one of the big guns now. As some of you might know there are 2 versions of this statue, I have the common one. There were 750 of these made and I have number 56.

Of the other statue there are only 400 in circulation and there are 2 differences as far as I know. The first is that the alternate display (the bottom bit) and the second is that you have a interchangeable helmeted head.

Normally I keep everything in their original box but this statue is so awesome that I took it out of the box and put it in my living room.

I’m still looking for the statue with the helmed, but all that I can find is people that ask way too much for it. So if you have it and want to sell it, or know someone who has it and wants to sell it just send me a email to mydiablocollection@gmail.com

Verified: #02: More action figures!

Posted in Collection news! with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on November 4, 2010 by EvilMe

So, there were three more action figures released for Diablo II, I guess you could say “Series two”. The following picture is of the three action figures (I’m not going to have separate ones for each one this time).

From left to right, the Barbarian, The unraveler, and Diablo. All three are in good condition, but what bothers me most is the Diablo figure. I absolutely love the fact the price tag was left on the figure, but it appears that the store had also ripped the old one off, leaving a tear mark on the cardboard. That REALLY sucks! also, you can see clearly in the picture, the barbarian has a minor bend at the top. And lastly, the unraveler has some minor bubble problems in the upper left corner (you can’t really see it). Other than that, they’re pretty much in the same condition as the first three (series one). What’s really frustrating: I bought all three of these at once from some guy on eBay, who shipped them great. Guess what happen the following day…Some one else was selling the exact same three on eBay but with them being SIGNED by the creators themselves! Not only that, but they were the same price for buy it now!! I had no room to place them anywhere (I’m running out of room from my huge collection) and also not enough money to go buying another three. So I just let them go for another huge Diablo collector. Maybe some day I can get the same thing?

Ok, so my first post with one (actually 3) of my items in my collection.

Here they are! Click them to view a larger and better view. My girlfriend is going to kill me for the horrible picture (She’s a photographer)…She’ll probably redo it for me when she see’s this, lol.

In order from left to right: The Corrupt Rogue, Baal’s Minion of Destruction, and The Nefarious Necromancer. Here’s individual pictures for all three (again, click to view larger size):

I originally ordered the necromancer by itself from some guy in England. For some unintelligent reason, he sent me the thing in an envelope instead of a safe box. So the thing got totally bent up, the bubble was damaged like hell, and yeah…So I told him I want my money back for the damage. I shipped it back and got a full refund. So from then on, I decided that every time I ask for something from someone, no matter where they are, I will ask for *SAFE* shipping of the product. I don’t want damaged items in the mail!!

Anyway, as you can see from these three figures, they are not in pristine condition. I bought them from some guy in Italy which shipped them 100x better than the last guy. There is one or two bends total and the bubble on Baal’s minion is barely dis-attached at the bottom (no you can’t see it in the picture!). But other than those few minor (and irritating) condition marks, they’re really well and I’m happy to know that the seller didn’t go throwing them away or putting them in a damp basement for the water to eat at the cardboard.

Tomorrow, I will show more of my collection, so stay tuned!!
